Mr. Weinstock joined Tiburon Oil and Gas in 2024 as Vice President of Operations. In this role, he oversees the company’s operational strategy, drives efficiency improvements across its asset portfolio, and ensures the successful execution of production and facilities projects. Prior to joining Tiburon, Mr. Weinstock served as Business Unit Director for Callon Petroleum’s Delaware Basin West, where he managed 145 operated wells producing approximately 50 MBoe/Day. He led a multidisciplinary team, optimized production, and oversaw M&A evaluations to maximize profitability. His tenure at Callon began as Completions Manager for Permian and Eagle Ford assets, where his strategic vision resulted in a 65% increase in pumping efficiencies, the deployment of the company’s first contracted electric frac fleet, and the application of data-driven methodologies. Before his time at Callon, Mr. Weinstock held senior engineering roles at Carrizo Oil &Gas, where he worked across the Eagle Ford, Utica, and Marcellus shale plays. He managed multi-million-dollar budgets and directed daily production operations, successfully completing hundreds of horizontal wells. His career began at EnCana Oil & Gas in western Wyoming, where he developed expertise in completions, production, and facilities engineering. Mr. Weinstock holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has over 19 years of leadership experience.
